Skool pays you through a Stripe Express sub-account, and the money that arrives has already been netted. On this setup the platform's cut never moves; it is simply funds that stay behind. So the gross sale price, Skool's fee, and the processing fee are not broken out anywhere you can pull them.
So when your bookkeeper asks for per-product revenue, or you want to know what an offer actually nets after Skool's cut and processor fees, no report you can pull assembles it. You're reading payout notifications and doing arithmetic by hand, or not doing it at all.
The gap is everything a real set of books needs: deposits tied back to the sales behind them, per-product P&L, numbers that match what actually hit your bank account.
What it does
- Per-product P&L: what each offer actually nets after Skool's cut and processor fees, not just gross revenue.
- Deposit netting tied back to what actually lands in your bank account.
- Sync to the accounting software you already use, or already should.
Who this isn't for
If you already have a bookkeeper assembling this, or a manual CSV pull that works for you, you probably don't need this. It exists for Skool sellers doing it themselves.
Questions, answered plainly
What do you do with my email?
Just store it, to send you one notification when this opens. Your Skool revenue data isn't touched until you're an active customer. Nothing beyond your email is collected at signup.
What will I actually get, and when?
One email, when Books opens. We're building it now. No fixed date yet.
What will this cost?
Aiming for a flat monthly rate, not a percentage of your revenue. Final pricing isn't set yet; flat and indie-priced is the commitment.
What stage is this at?
Early. That's why it's a waitlist. We're confirming there's real demand before building the automated version.
How do I get off this list?
Email [email protected] and you're off. No automated flow yet, just a real reply to a real person.
